Henan Provincial Drug Administration launches epidemic prevention and control action

On February 1, reporters learned from the Henan Provincial Drug Supervision and Administration Bureau that in recent days, the bureau has prioritized epidemic prevention and control as its top priority, taking responsibility and fulfilling its duties to comprehensively launch epidemic prevention and control actions.
On January 25, based on the production situation reported by Xinxiang Huaxi Weicai Co., Ltd. (a large-scale manufacturer of medical protective clothing), the Henan Provincial Drug Administration Bureau opened a green channel for raw material inspection, arranging the Provincial Medical Device Inspection Institute to conduct inspections immediately. The test results were returned on January 26, and the company was required to conduct production activities according to product standards to ensure quality and safety.
At 2 PM on January 26, the leading group for epidemic prevention and control of the Henan Provincial Drug Administration Bureau held its third meeting to deploy supervision and inspection of protective medical device manufacturers. The meeting focused on key aspects such as raw materials, personnel, production process inspection, and factory inspection, to strengthen the supervision of protective medical devices, urge enterprises to fulfill their primary responsibilities for product quality and safety, and prevent substandard products from entering the market. Meanwhile, the inspection team was reminded of relevant work discipline, requiring integrity and self-discipline, thorough inspections, and timely reporting of any problems found according to procedures.
Next, the bureau will continue to earnestly carry out the supervision of epidemic prevention and control drug and medical device production, promptly summarize and analyze the inspection results, address deficiencies, ensure the quality and safety of products on the market, and cooperate with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to ensure the supply of epidemic prevention and control drugs and medical devices.
